Illusion

I haven’t seen this man
for two years and counting
damn
what counting? the blessing? the stressing?
or the kissing?
he's the only one missing
in war
and hissing
only found in dreams I dream

only not missing in dreams I dream
the soldier
my heart's holder
who sat me on fire
who’s got the power
I slept to the thought of war
I slept to the thought of him with a scar
and what’s more
I woke up to a real sound of an ambulance nearby
predating, anticipating, waiting...
could I contact him? not at all

who said I was hallucinating?
it was all real
all this was real
the man
the war
the car
the scar
all this was a dream
and real

Innocence Lost

yawn
till dawn
innocence gone

in polite nights of beauty and charm
there was once a world
of a sweetheart
a bit smart
like art

in new evil nights of sensuality and harm
there's a new world
ready to be born
to be scorned
 to be drawn

swoon
till noon
innocence strewn

in a non-eternal world
full of fear, drought and doubt
nostalgia is brought for the old life
for the beautiful nights, for the charming, polite nights

lust
till dusk
innocence lost

Oh Mama!

Gently quiet and breathtakingly unaware of who's here and who's there
Summertime madness it is, making her wish for a better future and brighter today
Murmuring her blues into an ocean of positively negative proportions

Honey she named her daughter, what can you say

Every time you look into her eyes you see it; the happiness, the emotions, the long narrative

Tell her with me

Tell her to be here, there, and everywhere
Tell her to allow life to fly within herself
Tell her to let love bloom, to spring back and to forget what's been told and untold
and promise her some more honey
