Or hell?
Could this nature and beauty be heaven?
Or is this heat and struggle what's called hell?
Oh well
I am a stranger--could you tell?
I left my roots, forgetting them somewhere
Somewhere I call home--but define home
A feeling at which roots belong
at which blood blossoms best
and at which I hear my mother's song
Gracious grace, i'll be okay
I will pass and prosper at a pace
After all, I'm in a heavenly place
Or am I a stranger....
in hell?

Our World
Between the Earth and the sky
there stand you and I
without saying goodbye
let me tell how much I admire you with tears in my eye
Between the noon and the moon
for us there is enough room
complete and eternal
let us stay then you and I
Between a garden and a mountain high
there will be just you and I
my favorite song to you I will sing
to show how a woman madly in love shall live I will dance and I will swing
Between my mind and my soul
in pain have I struggled
to dismiss the world and keep only you my all
let us stay then you and I
there stand you and I
without saying goodbye
let me tell how much I admire you with tears in my eye
Between the noon and the moon
for us there is enough room
complete and eternal
let us stay then you and I
Between a garden and a mountain high

Starbucks Malaysia Opens a New Signing Store in Penang.
Penang, December 4,
2019.
Get Excited!!! Starbucks Malaysia
announces that a signing store has just opened in Penang. This is the second
signing store in Malaysia. First store being located in KL, the new store is
located in the heart of George town.
The store was opened
specifically in Penang because the island holds rich culture and history, and
as the Managing Director of Starbucks Malaysia and Brunei - Mr. Sydney Quay
stated, “KL was an overwhelming success when a signing store was opened in
2016. So it is smart to open another store Penang.”
This store was the
outcome of Starbucks Malaysia’s partnership with PDA. The aims of the store are
to give back to society, portray the value of different perspectives on hard of
hearing people and to enrich their lives.
PDA has given its
partners the professional training and development needed to manage the store.
Starbucks Malaysia and PDA also provide internships and sign language classes
for the store’s seven perfectly hearing partners, and as PDA and Starbucks
Malaysia ensure that the quality of store and the atmosphere is welcoming to
all customers, Mr. Razman Tan, President of PDA assures,
“PDA is excited to
partner with Starbucks because that gives a sense of belonging to the
community. Starbucks is a place for many kinds of people to come together.”
The signing store is
4,600sq. ft. The design of the store is designed specifically to meet the needs
of deaf and hard of hearing partners and customers. Examples of the design
include visual alarms and digital trace and point of sale systems with an
attachment customer display.
In conjunction with
the launch day, the store has a promo where for each vanilla fig fruppichino
there will be a special price, and for each of that drink, Starbucks Malaysia
will donate RM1 to PDA.
About
Starbucks opened in
Malaysia in 1998 and now has 300 stores in 30 different states as well as that
it employs 4000 partners.

How To Bake A Cake In College!
While waiting for your
in-campus shuttle bus, or while waiting in a long hectic line to get to the
cashier at a restaurant for lunch, that is when you have the opportunity to
have the best random, spontaneous, genuine conversations with others, and that is
when you know you are about to bake
and celebrate a great life in college!
You are probably missing
out on a lot of fun and action if you are not living a vivid social life during
your college years. A good college life mainly includes participating in and
attending events that are organized by fellow students. A good college life is
about the awkward moments in class when you shout a wrong answer out loud. A
good college life includes having cool and deep conversations with strangers;
conversations that last for about two hours before saying goodbye. If you are
struggling with your life at college, below are a few tips on how to get your
recipe started:
- Talk, talk and talk! What is
the point of going to college everyday if you are not willing to invest
some energy in socializing with friends, with people, with strangers?
- Check up on other students!
College life is not easy, and if you really do want to improve your own
life, as well as other student's life, do not be afraid of initiating a
close bonding with them. Ask how they are doing, how they are getting on
with assignments, or even what they have had for lunch. Those kinds of
intimately driven questions are a key to forming genuine bonds with
others.
- Actually attend classes! I have
seen people, including my very own brother for example, who do not even
bother going to classes and would rather study the lectures online. I
believe this is an extremely unhealthy college lifestyle as it is
crucially significant to be physically present in the lecture to not miss
out on the discussions, the group tasks, the fun.
- Do not hesitate to meet up with
your lecturers, ask them, text them! You have probably been told by other
students that it is not preferable to approach your lecturers often
because "they are not your friends. They do not like it." But
that is not true! You have every right to seek help, ask a lot, and trust
me, you will find that most lecturers are very welcoming and caring and
cool.
Once you practice
socializing with people in college, the energy will live on. You will notice
that you are aware of more social events, more people to hang out with, more
places to hang out at, your cake just gets tastier and tastier once you master
the right ingredients.
The next time you are at
a bus stop, or standing in a long line, turn to the person behind you and
heartily start conversing, you will realize that there are many entertaining
people who are capable of conversing very well and interestingly too, only
when they get the chance.
